Mushroom stew with paprika and noodles

Mushroom stew with noodles is one of my favorite meals. The mushroom stew is made with sour cream and paprika, and noodles are freshly made.

Ingredients (for two persons)

300 g (10.5 oz) mushrooms
1 onion
0.5 cup of sour cream
salt, pepper
1 bay leaf
sweet ground paprika
200 g (7 oz) plain flour
2 eggs
50 ml (1.7 fl oz) water
oil

To make the mushroom stew, chop the onions, heat up some oil in a pan, and cook the onions until soft. Meanwhile, chop the mushrooms, add to the pan. Add the bay leaf, season with salt  and pepper, and with a large tablespoonful of paprika powder. After about 10-15 minutes, or when the mushroom seems ready, add the sour cream. After a few minutes, the stew is ready.
Now, to make the noodles, add the two eggs to the flour, mix together, and add the water. The given amount is approximate, the important thing is that you need a more or less homogeneous, sticky, elastic mixture. Boil some water. Transfer the mixture to a wet plate, and with a wet knife, cut small pieces off of the mixture on the plate into the boiling water. The noodle pieces are ready after a few minutes, when you see that they are swollen, and float on the top of the water.
